crowded classroomOscar and Eva presented at the Alameda County AB212 Conference on Saturday, November 1 at Chabot College in Hayward, CA. Oscar presented the Basics of Balanced Behavior Guidance, and Creating a Toolbox for Social Emotional Learning. “I turned around for a minute, and when I turned back, there were 60 people in a room that only had chairs for 30. People were sitting on the floor and leaning against the walls. It was packed!” Oscar recounted regarding the behavior guidance workshop.  Eva presented on Easy Ideas for Integrating the Common Core Language Arts Standardswhich wasn’t packed but which was well received by attendees. “People were excited about how easy the Spark cards are to implement. It was fun to see everyone so enthusiastic.”
